About H.O.T.

H.O.T.’S History
My son is Chad. In 2004 he was deployed to Afghanistan with the 501st Airborne which was stationed on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. H.O.T. was established to support my son and many sons and daughters like him who are defending our freedom.
We are a non-profit (501c3) organization maintained by donations of care package items and financial donations of folks across this country. H.O.T. is volunteered based.
H.O.T.’S Motivation
A key motivation for H.O.T. to continue to grow is the understanding that there are so many soldiers all around the world that are not receiving anything like a card, letter, or care package from anyone. We have received numerous letters back from soldiers (which you can read on our “Soldier Testimony” page) asking us to add a particular soldier to our list because that soldier, that HERO, is not receiving anything from home. We feel that it is our responsibility to make sure they know they are not forgotten and they are cared about. So, in this spirit, we ask that you consider partnering with H.O.T. to take the opportunity to HONOR OUR TROOPS in whatever way you can, so together we can continue the work we have begun.
H.O.T.’S Growth
H.O.T. has grown to the extent that we are going nationally with our $2.00 Drive To Honor Our Troops in schools and in children’s ministries in churches. Also, we are traveling all around Texas with our H.O.T. Event Program.
H.O.T.’S Mission
To send care packages to as many service men and women as possible on a weekly basis.
